First Look of ‘Vishwaroopam’ to be unveiled at IIFA

The first look of Southern Superstar Kamal Hassan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ will be unveiled by the actor himself at the 13^th Videocon IIFA Weekend in Singapore this June 2012.

‘Vishwaroopam’ is an upcoming thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Hassan. He also portrays the lead role. The film also cast Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat, Andrea Jeremiah, Zarina Wahab, Samrat Chakrabarti and a special appearance by Oscar nominated director Shekhar Kapur. The music for the film is given by musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Vairamuthu has penned lyrics for the Tamil version whereas noted poet Javed Akhtar has penned lyrics for the Hindi version of the film.

The film is made both in Hindi and Tamil. The Hindi version titled ‘Vishwaroop’ will be released on June 8^th at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. Singapore will be hosting the IIFA Awards for the second time. The Videocon IIFA Weekend 2012 will be hosted in the Lion’s City of Singapore from June 7^th to June 9^th. In an interview, the legendary actor Hassan said: “IIFA is one of the biggest events for the Indian Film Industry. This year is particularly special for my film and me; it is a great opportunity to present my film on such a large and international scale. I look forward to unveiling the first look of ‘Vishwaroopam’ and I am hopeful that it will be well received”.
