Manoj Kumar Returns To Bollywood

Veteran actor Manoj Kumar popularly known as Jai Bharat is all set to return to Bollywood as a director. He is going to be directing a film called ‘DNA Report’ after more than two decades. His last directorial venture was the box-office failure Clerk in 1989.

The director reveals: “I haven’t been able to make any film because of my back problem. But now my script is ready. It’s a film called DNA Report. It’s about how a man becomes a victim of a DNA test when he has never had any emotional or physical relationship with a woman. Then, how does the DNA report say he’s the father of the woman’s child? This is a subject I’ve never been into.”

Buzz is that the director has chosen Akshay Kumar for the lead role. According to the director Manoj Kumar: “Akshay has great respect for me. In his film ‘Namaste London’, he tells Katrina Kaif, ‘If you want to know what India is all about get a DVD of Purab Aur Pachchim, and you will know’.”
